1. What are the weekend services like?

We work hard to make sure every weekend service is creative and relevant to your life.  You will find the weekend worship services to be exciting and dynamic. Our goal is to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ in the best way possible and to help people see God in a real way.

Our services are designed to lead people to a personal relationship with God. At CCC, you will experience worship through contemporary music provided by our Praise Band and Vocal Teams. We utilize things like drama and multi-media to enhance the practical messages presented each week by our Senior Minister, Brent Brady. We participate in high energy Praise & Worship, reflect on God's blessings during communion, and learn to apply God's Word to our everyday lives.

2. What about my children?

It seems like children are everywhere at Community.  It is our prayer that each one of them feels God’s love as a result of their experiences in our Children’s Ministry. We know that more than 75% of all Christians make their initial commitment to Christ before the age of 18. Our Children’s Ministry Team considers this time extremely precious. We want a child's early experiences at church to be happy and safe ones. We are commmitted to making our Children's ministry a safe place. All of our Children's Minsitry leaders and volunteers have had background checks. No worries. Parents can focus on their worship and the kids can focus on having a great time. Heartland is a new program at Community, that is an exciting large-group/small group experience for children 3 years old through 5th grade each Sunday morning. Children gather for a time of high energy worship, play a few games, then break into age-appropriate small groups to apply what they learned. If you want an endorsement, just ask the kids. They love it.

3. What does your church believe?

Our foundation is based firmly upon the Bible as our authority on Christian beliefs and guide for living. We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, without error, given to us, so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love.

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of Deity. God the Father is the creator and sustainer of the universe. God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but have been separated from God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God's saving grace to reconcile us to Him.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and was raised from the grave. He will return as our victorious Lord. Jesus came to restore our relationship with God. Salvation comes only through faith in Him and cannot be earned through human effort.

We believe faith in Jesus Christ requires repentance of our sinful life, confession of our faith before witnesses, obedience to the Word of God, and baptism. Baptism by immersion demonstrates our faith and obedience to Jesus Christ - while it also depicts our union with Christ through His death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe everyone who accepts Christ as their Savior will receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit who acts as a comforter, guide, and advocate on our behalf. God gives gifts to both men, women and children through the Holy Spirit for the benefit of service to Christ and the ministry of the church.

 4. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

If you're visiting, we won't ask you to give a dime when we pass the offering plate. We won't make you wear a visitor badge or stand up to be introduced. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to, but we encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to see what's going on at Community.

5. Can I find out what this weekend's message is going to be about?

Yes, our homepage will always have this week's message information.

6. How do I get to the church?

We are located at 6400 Culver Road, just off Nanticoke Road, in Salisbury. You can get at map from the link on our Welcome Center.

 7. What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. People wear everything from business casual to shorts and sandals. Feel free to leave the tie and high heel shoes at home.

8. What do you have for junior high and high school students?

We have a vibrant and growing youth group. Our teen ministry is one of the best things we do at Community. Our primary weekly teen experience is Pulse. Pulse occurs every Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. Teens gather to connect with like minded teens, have fun, and share a devotional together. Pulse participants then break into peer led small groups to discuss how the devotional thoughts can be applied to their lives. It seems our teens always have something going on, whether it’s an annual event, teen Bible studies, get togethers at various homes, or community service projects.

 9. Do you have a Small Group Ministry?

Yes, we have a Small Group Ministry. Our small groups are an important part of getting connected at Community. You can find information about all of our small groups under the “Small Groups" page on our website.
